Cornelis Jordaan

I’m Cornelis and I compose music inspired by myths and legends.

My aesthetic is melodic, organic, sometimes “epic” in scope, and at other times walking the line of dark ambient, dungeon synth, and drone music. I’ve heard it said that my music pairs well with long evenings of Dungeons & Dragons and other such tabletop endeavours.  The symphonic forces are my focus and I create many of the soundscapes you hear with ensembles of acoustic instruments, both from the traditional symphonic orchestra and also from folk traditions found around the world.
