Tyler Shaver

Tyler Shaver is a student composer and pianist based in Chicago. He currently attends Saint Ignatius College Prep. He has written music for the Honors Music Institute at Penn State, Jacobs Composition Academy at Indiana University, Saint Ignatius Wind Symphony, and Interlochen Ensembles. He has won multiple awards for composition, including the Illinois Music Educators Association and the National Music Federation Club, among others. His music explores sonic realms through experimenting with fixed media and electronics, extended instrumental techniques, and repetition, creating expansive soundscapes and vivid images.
